Success Story 2025

How a banking association stayed capable of deciding within hours in a critical situation

Data volume processed

Total processing time

Files fully reconciled

## The starting position

In the summer of 2025 a banking association was under time pressure: 700 business-critical files with a total volume of around 23 TB had to be available in evaluated form before decisions on deposit protection could be taken. Speed and freedom from error carried equal weight.

### Data volume

700 critical business files with a total volume of 23 TB had to be processed without a single error.

### Time pressure

The previous processing time of several weeks had to be reduced drastically so that business processes were not blocked.

### Security

The highest security standards and continuously provable data integrity were non-negotiable, because any error would have had critical consequences.

Through clear accountability, agreed procedures and end-to-end evidence we reduced the processing time from several weeks to 10 hours, including automated per-file reporting and evidenced data integrity.

## How the project ran

### Start

Day 1

22 July 2025, 13:08

Start of the optimized processing runs. Our prior analysis and preparation meant we could begin at full efficiency immediately.

- 7 of 19 packages (36.8%) in the first run

### Optimization and scaling

Day 2

Room for improvement showed up while the runs were under way. The approach was sharpened the same day so that the client timetable held and no decision had to wait.

- On-time delivery secured while operations continued

### Overnight processing

Night 2-3

23:00 - 01:00

Use of the maintenance windows for the resource-intensive runs. The largest holdings were processed overnight, without affecting day-to-day operations.

- Maintenance windows used to the full

### Project completion

Success

25 July 2025, 11:12

All 700 files processed successfully. The full volume of 23 TB completed. Data consistency fully reconciled. Automated reports generated and delivered.

- 23 TB in 10 hours, fully reconciled.

## Customer feedback

We do not disclose client names for data protection and confidentiality reasons. At SIMO GmbH, earning and preserving the trust of our clients is a core principle.

That is professional execution and reporting. Thank you for it. The quality and speed of the data processing far exceeded our expectations.

### Proactive communication

Transparent status reports and continuous updates created confidence and enabled fast decisions.

### Risk mitigation

Use of maintenance windows in night operations and continuous validation guaranteed error-free results.

## 23 TB in 10 hours, 700 files fully reconciled

The case shows what matters when it counts: clear accountability, dependable procedures and a client who knows at all times what their decisions rest on. What previously took weeks was complete and provable after 10 hours.
